A coach will dramatically increase your results for the following reasons:
Accountability is a huge
area that is lacking in most people’s
training. All
high level athletes have coaches who monitor their progress,
assess their performance, analyze past mistakes and more in order to
help them get better.
If you have no one to ask questions and receive feedback from on what happens from one week to the next you might slip downwards. You might go weeks or even months not noticing that you really aren't getting anywhere. In short, accountability automatically improves your performance and results.
Why are you training in the
way you do? Do you have a legitimate
well-thought out idea of why you do the things you do? And what if
there is a better way to do things? What is the reasoning behind your
training goals?
When you challenge the false assumptions that have held you back … and when you begin basing your decisions on the TRUTH about how the training really works – you will have taken the first GIANT step towards creating the strength and health you deserve!
You can't discount the power
of a challenge. Have you ever raced with
someone to be the first to achieve something? About a year ago a
friend and I made a bet to be the first to tear a deck of cards in half. That little bet made it so that I was
tearing decks in less than two months.
Before than I had always 'wanted' this goal but never did what it took
to get it done. A simple challenge changed that.
I will continually challenge you to get the most out of your training.
Sometimes you just need
someone to talk to about a specific area in
order to figure it out yourself. Since a large portion of the worlds
population could care less about what we do, you may have no one like
this in your inner circle that you can confide in. Just talking it out
can be a huge help. Plus its sometimes those areas outside of training
that can have a negative affect on you.
Everybody needs recognition.
When you hit a goal you have made progress
and deserve to get a little praise. You’ve worked hard and its always
good to have others recognize you for your efforts.
