I just had an awesome weekend in Minneapolis at the Smarter Strength workshop. What I learned there will have some big changes for the future. Look for a full review later on.

There I taught others the basics of hand balancing as you can learn in the Secrets of the Handstand Quick Start DVD.

People were loving the progressions and different movement patterns then many aren’t use to. I even taught Adam Glass how to do a cartwheel (look for a video sometime soon).

I’m extremely happy about this video where I juggle a 70 lb. kettlebell behind my back.

Now I plan on getting back into juggling kettlebells regularly. Want to join me? Then I recommend you check out The Definitive Guide to Kettlebell Juggling.

I hit several other big PR’s. A 485 lb. deadlift. A 645lb partial deadlift.

Holding back levers easier than ever before.

Tearing a Mini Deck of Cards in half for the first time ever.

Doing a bridge lockout of 325 lbs. as is described in the Advanced Bridging Course.

I don’t say this to brag. I say this to inspire and show you that you too can achieve great things if you put your mind to it.

And if you want to get there faster having quality instruction is the best way to do so. That’s why I put together all my programs. To help you achieve your goals faster.

I taught Dave the progression I’d been using towards a one arm chinnup, described in the Advanced Bodyweight Training Course. Considering he’s busted out a chinnup with 56kg of added weight for two reps I predict he’ll be able to do the real thing soon.

Whether your goal is holding a handstand, lifting heavy weights, snatching a kettlebell for 10 minutes or anything else.

Right now my Moving Sale is going on where you can get every single one of my programs at a substantial discount.

I’ve received 57 orders from people all over the world looking to get stronger and gain more crazy skills. Everything from my $1 digital video offer to the whole package for $997.

There is a lot to learn.

But this sale won’t be around long. Just a few more days then its gone for good. So grab what you want right now.

Sincerely,
Logan Christopher

P.S. Plus everything on the sale still comes with my 3 month guarantee. So you can try it and if you don’t like it for any reason just let me know and you’ll get all your money back. There’s no risk.

I mentioned this a few weeks ago but wanted to call your attention to it again.

Next weekend the Smarter Strength workshop hosted by Adam Glass is happening in Minnesota.

smarterstrength Smarter Strength Workshop

I’m flying out from California to make it.

And I highly encourage you to do the same. You are in one of three boats as far as I see it.

One

You haven’t tried out the biofeedback method of training. What are you waiting for? Have you seen the results everyone is getting with it?

There is no better way then to learn hands on as well as the latest and greatest techniques of the evolving system. I’m going to do my best to get Adam to talk about the next step beyond testing too…

Two

You’ve tried the system and weren’t getting the results promised. Sorry to say, but chances are there was User Error involved in this. (At times I’ve screwed this up myself.)

It’s not black and white. When you are working with the feedback of your body there is the possibility of throwing off the test. Plus you still do need to know much else. I wouldn’t say if you only knew biofeedback training you were good to go. Other knowledge is also needed.

This workshop will get you running right and answer all your questions.

Three

You’re using biofeedback and getting great results!

I hope you’re in this camp. Still if you can learn an upgrade that will allow you quicker results wouldn’t you want that? Get further refinements and new opportunities to become better.

You’ll be among a bunch of strong guys there (and ladies too). No better place to set big PR’s. Also I’ll be an open book for any and all questions you have.

As a special bonus if you sign up today, send me your receipt and then Sunday morning after the workshop we’ll schedule an hour long one on one to work on whatever you wish to (limited to 3 people). If nothing else I’ll deliver some ground-breaking mental training tactics to you to add on top of what you‘re already doing.

In strength,
Logan Christopher

P.S. While I recommend you sign up for the above, don’t order anything from any of my websites now. I’ve got an unexpected announcement and amazing deals for you coming next week. Stay tuned.

Its not a barbell…

Its not a kettlebell…

Its not your training journal…

Its your body…

And I’m not talking about bodyweight exercises. Those are important and something I’ll be sharing a bunch more on shortly, but for now I‘m talking about something else.

That is using your body and the signals it gives you (if you‘re willing to listen). In other words biofeedback.

If you look at all top athletes, through their years of training they become very in tune with their body. The needs, demands and what they can do with it.

In a recent interview I saw with Steve Justa, author of Rock, Iron, Steel, he even went so far as to call it psychic.

But the truth is everyone get’s these signals. It’s a matter of making them stronger and more recognizable so that you can use them for your benefit, rather than tuning them out (which is what most people do!)

It will take some time. It will take some practice. But in the end the benefits will far outweigh the cost.

And if you think I’m only talking about ‘testing’ your exercises then you’re missing the big picture. That is a big step and one I think everyone needs to try out.

On that note, my friend Adam Glass is putting on his only workshop of the year in Minneapolis on the 4th of June.

I’m going to be there and I recommend that you do too. Whether you’ve been working with the gym movement protocol for awhile now or have never even heard of it, this workshop is bound to take you further.

Click here to read about it and when you sign up tell him I sent you.

In fact, I’ll hook you up with a one on one session on Sunday (limited to three people) as a bonus.

And we can talk about the next two levels after testing, as well as much else to get the most out of your training.

Don’t miss it.

In strength,
Logan Christopher

P.S. I don’t know how many spots are available or how many are already taken up but this is limited. Check it out now.

Today is the day.

I’ve mentioned it several times, Adam Glass is releasing Industrial Strength Grip today.

industrialgrip 300x205 Industrial Strength Grip

Click to check out the full details here.

I was happy to get an advanced copy to watch before this. Let me explain a bit about it.

For people that have been training grip for a long time much of the information may be review for you. Still even though I’ve been doing this for years I picked up a few things, especially on gripper training, which has not been my specialty.

If you’re new to training your hands then I would say this DVD is the very best place to start. While there is plenty of other grip training information out there, nothing gives you the foundation this DVD will, covering the different forms of grip training and how to put them all together.

You’ll learn over 30 exercises many of which you can likely do with equipment you already have. I used one of these yesterday and will definitely be coming back to it.

Get Industrial Strength Grip Here.

It also features the Biofeedback Training protocol and how to apply it to grip strength.

My Bonus For You

I’m offering a bonus for anyone that orders it today through the link here. (I get a commission when you buy, hence me giving you something on top of the already great value. But know that I wouldn‘t recommend anything I didn‘t believe in just to make some money). After you’ve ordered send me a copy of your receipt and I’ll give you access.

It’ll be a video that shows you a new approach to goal setting and prioritizing your training. This works especially well with the biofeedback training to ensure your training is better focused and going the direction you want.

I haven’t shot the video yet but I did the steps myself and my workouts have gotten even better in a short amount of time. I’ll be showing you how to apply it to grip as well as the rest of your body in training.

The progress you make is largely based on the goals you have. This is part of the top secret stuff I’ve been working on recently. You’ll get a taste of it before 2011 even rolls around.

I talk a lot about grip strength and feats of strength.

Why?

1) Because they’re fun to do.

And more importantly…

2) Because strong hands means you’re stronger overall.

industrialstrengthgrip Building a Grip Foundation

My website isn’t really for beginners. I’d like to think that everyone who reads my messages is a step above the normal population especially when it comes to strength and fitness.

When the average person on the street may be puzzled when you say ‘Grip Strength’ you are not. And just by training your hands you’re are several steps above!

But where should beginners start?

And what if you have hole’s in your foundation yet you’re trying to move onto the ‘advanced’ stuff? (That can easily be a recipe for lack of progress if not outright disaster.)

There are a few people well worth listening too when it comes to hand and wrist strength. My friend, Adam Glass is one of them. He is strong, especially when it comes to grip.

Among some of his accomplishments are ripping decks of cards and phone books in a second. He lifts hundreds of pounds with a single finger. A thick horseshoe Adam bent for me lies on my shelf, far larger than the horseshoes I regularly bend.

And if you’re not quite complete without a world record Adam has one. He owns the world record in the 2″ vertical bar deadlift with a 353 lbs pull at a body weight of 204lbs.

Adam is releasing a DVD on how to build strong hands. But you can’t get it yet. First off he wants to give you a series of free videos showing you the how’s and why’s of grip strength.

At no cost it’s a no-brainer.

Go there and sign up, get the free videos, and get started.

Personally, I can’t wait to see what he has in store. And when you sign you’ll see many of these feats done with ease.

This is the second in a series on my progress on biofeedback. Click here for the first post.

I still feel like I need more time to have revolutionary results. So far the results have only been great!

My lifts are going up. By following my biofeedback my body is guiding me to do higher volume most of the time versus what I use to do which was singles or maybe 5×5.

You may have heard about cycling or waving the loads before in periodization or other training plans. It looks like the reason that works is because that’s what the body naturally wants to do!

The question you may be asking is, is this higher volume leading to more strength on the top end? So far it seems to be yes. Still need more time to see the overall and definite trend but I’m starting to see it right now. About once a week or so the testing guides me to work up to a max (in different lifts). As long as the exercise keeps testing better with increasing loads I keep going.

One big change is that I no longer do a daily joint mobility routine. I don’t need to. My body isn’t beat up from training, in fact I rarely get sore and when I do its just a small amount.

I have improved my flexibility without doing static or isometric stretching. Even my hand balancing practice is getting better, when I’ve been stuck for a long, long time.

I leave each workout moving better than I did before the workout. I feel good, if not downright fresh and ready to do much more. Sometimes I feel a little worked after high volume or many exercises but I never feel dead tired or like I need to lay down to recoup.

KB Snatch Test 198x300 Progress in Biofeedback Training Part 2

Making it Hard or Making it Easy? The Choice is Yours...

Oh yeah, and I’m training six or even seven days a week setting PR’s each day in just about everything I do. (Training this often is by no means necessary its just something I like to do and now I can without overtraining.) For example I wrote a month or so ago how I hit 250 snatches in 10 minutes with the 24kg. I was dust after that. Had to lay down. It took everything. Just yesterday I casually did 144 snatches in 5 minutes. Nothing but a little winded.

I saw a comment on another blog regarding PR’s and I want to clarify what that really means. PR stands for personal record. It doesn’t mean you have to max out in your lift in order to get it. It simply means you’ve done more in one way or another than ever before.

Progress is the name of the game in training. And progress comes in the form of PR’s. There is no other way.

So these are my results…so far. I will continue to do this because its working. There is no turning back. I expect over time it will get even better. And I will report on what happens.

On that note, Adam Glass is re-releasing the Grip and Rip DVD’s with even more material that explains how to do all this properly.

When I got started I had lots of questions. It took time to get the feeling and to be doing it right. With these DVD’s you’ll cut the learning curve in half. And then you’ll see these results faster.

No other training information or program out there will give you the capabilities this one does. To listen to your body for your own training. To guide you in how you and only you should be training.

Not to mention I’m actually having even more fun then before with this stuff.

***BONUS***

These DVD’s are going to show you everything you need to get started fast. But I was thinking about what I could offer to complement this and I happened on this idea. You see, I learned best by going through the process myself. You can tell me something or show me how it works and I still might not ‘get it’.

Maybe you’re the same?

So I’m going to film my next two workouts and walk you through exactly what I’m doing and why I’m doing it. How I test, when I test, why I test, when I stop my sets, everything I can show you.

These will be made available as online videos on a secret page only for you who order now through this link and forward me your receipt.

Go here and order.

They made a limited number of copies and they’re likely to sell out fast. So if you want this information and my bonus, which is the closest thing I can give you to walking you through it in person, you need to act now.

In strength,
Logan Christopher

Adam Glass has just released the DVD’s of his Grip and Rip Workshop. This includes:

Part 1 – Bio Feedback Programming (54 Minutes)
Part 2 – Fat Loss & Physique Transformation (29 Minutes)
Part 3 – Secrets of The Deadlift (31 Minutes)
gripnrp dvd set Grip n Rip DVDs Available NowPart 4 – The Secrets Of Pressing (34 Minutes)
Part 5 – The Truth About Grip Training (13 Minutes)

All this for just $147.

If you’ve been reading my blog then you know I’ve been applying these teachings to my own workouts. In fact, if you look on the site you’ll see a little twitter feed showing you everyone’s recent PR’s. If you watch long enough you’ll see me come up.

Unfortunately they only printed up 100 copies. I’m confident that these will sell out FAST which I think is unfortunate. And he’s saying that he has no plans to make more copies (which I think is stupid.)

But it is what it is, so if you want to get access to this information which promises to literally and completely transform your training you’re going to have to act quickly.

He’s even offering a 200% money back guarantee.

Now, this material may not be for everyone. But if you feel like its right for you then go for it. (You can even test the idea out.)

Click here for more information and to get your set now.

stamets live 300x186 Reporting from the Field

Live from the conference

I just got back yesterday from the Longevity Now Conference held in Costa Mesa.

Quite simply it was a mind blowing event.

I learned not only a great deal on information on how to improve your health but things that can equally improve your strength, athletic progress, and recovery as well.

I’ll be sharing many of these things with you. Just need to put them to the test first and do some more research.

Many people start working out just for their health. Others are in it for performance and to become strong. Either way, there is much you can do outside of the gym that will make a huge difference.

I’ve realized my role is to be on the cutting edge of information and I do that in any field that interests me. If you don’t have time for that, that’s fine, I will be the one to deliver it to you.

I just learned some of the greatest health information in the world. And in a couple weeks I’ll be flying out to work with Adam Glass and many others, learning what looks like the very cutting edge of training information.

If you haven’t already be sure to check out Adam’s video here.

And between all this traveling I’ll take the time to deliver more of this information to you. In fact, in a few moments I’ll be starting on a report of one simple thing you can do (that’s so obvious) that will improve everything you do.

You’ll think it can’t be that easy but it is. And it costs nothing.

Logan Christopher

Looks like this was all new information to many people (referring to my previous post) after watching my friend Adam Glass’ video here. Here’s one from Bill.

“OK, I’m trying to get it here. A simple comparative toe touch looking at ROM after doing certain selected exercises/drills will tell me which of those drills (e.g. KB press, DB press, bar press) will give me the best result(s) not only for training that day, but will have the biggest longitudinal (over time) payoff for my general pressing strength irrespective of implement used? My pressing strength with all 3 of these tools will increase? (maybe not equally, or even proportionately, but all 3 will improve better than with other methodologies, such as Bill Starr’s 5X5, or Jim Wendler’s 5/3/1?) If so, how do I know the appropriate test to determine the best implement/drill to select for working on say, DL strength, or pressing strength? Toe touch or arms overhead, ROM to ears, or behind ears, etc.? I’m not trying to be an asshole here, just trying to understand, and as I’m sure you understand what you are presenting here is a complete paradigm shift. I’m trying to see this free and clear of the things I’ve “learned” over a lifetime of working out/lifting, etc. and this is a BIG change. Thanks, Bill.”

You have some great questions here Bill. And I’m sure you’re not the only one. And I’ll take them one at a time.

ROM Test 260x300 Paradigm Shift

The Toe Touch ROM Test

A simple comparative toe touch looking at ROM after doing certain selected exercises/drills will tell me which of those drills (e.g. KB press, DB press, bar press) will give me the best result(s) not only for training that day, but will have the biggest longitudinal (over time) payoff for my general pressing strength irrespective of implement used?

Yes. In my experience I’ve been working on the double kettlebell press recently. If that tests well I may just go with it. Or I may decide to test barbell presses, or single kettlebell presses to see if any of them test better. If they do I go with that exercise for the day. When pressing in any form doesn’t test well I don’t press.

My pressing strength with all 3 of these tools will increase? (maybe not equally, or even proportionately, but all 3 will improve better than with other methodologies, such as Bill Starr’s 5X5, or Jim Wendler’s 5/3/1?)

Yes. Pressing however you do it should improve all pressing even if there isn’t 100% carryover between tools. The idea is to listen to your body rather than force a program onto it.

If so, how do I know the appropriate test to determine the best implement/drill to select for working on say, DL strength, or pressing strength? Toe touch or arms overhead, ROM to ears, or behind ears, etc.?

If I am not mistaken it does not matter which test you use as long as you compare it to the same test done in the same way. I’ve been exclusively using the toe touch now for sometime. And as stated in Adam’s video you’re not stretching but testing your ROM until you feel tension.

I’m not trying to be an asshole here, just trying to understand, and as I’m sure you understand what you are presenting here is a complete paradigm shift. I’m trying to see this free and clear of the things I’ve “learned” over a lifetime of working out/lifting, etc. and this is a BIG change.

I agree that these concepts to represent a paradigm shift. Every once in awhile something comes along that changes the game. Is this one of them? Its too early for me to say for sure. However, results so far have been good.

Imagine if your body could tell you exactly how you should be training in order to improve. It makes sense that you should listen to it rather than try to force it into your plan.

And if you did listen, what would that mean? It would mean faster improvement. In fact, the idea is to hit a PR in one form or another every single time you train. Plus, instead of forcing a movement to the point of collapse, or a movement unnatural to your body, your body is much less likely to suffer injuries or nagging pain.

Based on the idea that it might be that good I’m going full bore into it. Next month I’ll be attending the (very) limited certification by its creator and all the top people. So I’ll have much more to report soon icon smile Paradigm Shift

Until then if you haven’t be sure to check out the videos available here.

There is no reason you can’t get started right away.

In strength,
Logan Christopher

P.S. I want more feedback. Leave your comments and questions here.

How many things out there are marketed as being able to double your results? A LOT.

And as such, we get numb to the idea of anything possibly doing that. But the truth is some things are that good.

You may have heard some of the buzz about Bio adamglass Double Your Results? Yeah right…Feedback training recently.

Maybe you’ve looked into it. Maybe you haven’t.

Well, my friend Adam Glass has just released a video that gives the best and most succinct explanation of how you can start using it right away.

And in case you haven’t heard of it, here’s what it promises. Faster progress and no injuries simply by listening to what your body tells you.

Adam has been busy coaching people in this method and a number of guys have put on 30 lbs. in 4 months. If you’re interested in adding size that’s gotta get your attention!

What if you’re interested in gaining strength not mass? Adam happens to be one of the strongest guys I know, and he’s getting stronger every single day faster and easier then before.

As for me, I’ve just started doing this myself. Its still early in the game, so to speak, but my results so far have been good.

This is worth checking out…

Logan Christopher
